This is a short tutorial about preparing a WordPress based website for import of articles and videos from fast forward stories. My assumption here is that you've got administrative rights to the WordPress site. If you don't see some of the screen, some of the key screens and features that are shown in this tutorial, you know, back up, get in touch with us. Potentially there may be someone else running your site who needs to do these things. If you do have access, follow these steps. First. I'm going to log in to this demo WordPress site. It's nearly empty, um, but it's got all of the essential and current WordPress features. As of when this was shot. I'm going to go down to tools left side, and in this case and under import, I'm going to add the WordPress importer. That's just capability from WordPress that gives this site the ability to pull in a well-defined format for pages or posts. This is automatically going to pull the bits from WordPress, the the source company behind the WordPress platform. Install. Now wait a minute, activate plugin, and I'm not gonna run the importer right now. The second plugin that we're going to put in place that you will need to use the import file provided from fast forward stories back under plugins here, add new. I'm going to add the Wistia WordPress plugin. I'm going to search on Wistia WordPress first result that comes up right here. Wistia WordPress plugin. Install now, okay, next step should be activate and we're pretty much done.

So that's the list of active installed plugins. Bottom left plugins installed plugins on this site. And you'll note that Wistia WordPress plugin is activated because the thing says D activate did a WordPress in Porter. So this site now has the capability to read in, to pull in a WordPress import file. And if there are videos from Wistia in the Oh embed WordPress video, uh, embed format, this site will play them properly. That's it. We're trying to keep these short.
